Case edges are still very sharp as shown in photos, which is rare as many of the other examples out there has now been over polished to shit. The Seiko 6139 automatic chronograph movement is the first serial production of its kind in history debuted back in 1969. The 6139-6005 is the North American version of this watch style which features 1 line of text underneath the Seiko logo. (As opposed to the 6139-6002 models which features 2 lines underneath the logo.) All parts of the watch except of the high quality replacement hardlex crystal, are original Seiko parts. (Which is getting harder and harder to come by nowadays as fake aftermarket parts are flooding the market) All lumes on dial and hands are original. All functions of the watch (chrono start/stop/reset, rotating inner bezel, day/date quickset) works as intended. Watch has been completely overhauled locally (in Vancouver) in 2022 and is running strong. This particular example is dated April 1977, a super late model for this reference. Lug width is 19mm.
