The Audemars Piguet dress watch reference 5043BA features a yellow gold case and a black leather strap. The white dial has black baton hour markers and the watch has a simple design with two hands and no seconds hand. It is powered by a manual-winding movement caliber 2003 and is a beautiful and classic timepiece that would make a great addition to any collection. What is truly special about this exact piece is that it is double signed by Van cleef and Arpels. I could only assume that it was retailed out of one of there stores where it was bought and gifted to a dear friend in 1957. The watch could use some attention. I believe the clutch wheel is wearing out. With that being said it does keep time pretty well still! $5,000 Obo shipped and insured in the USA!
