The gilt is genuine relief, not just gold printing, meaning the deep black dial is printed in the negative, leaving empty spaces were the dial text, minute track and hour marker surrounds are left blank so the shiny gold under the dial shows thru. It's a sight to behold in combination with the raised lume, which is X1 c3 and fantastic! Watch is running great, crown stops readily at all positions, winds smoothly, no issues.
