Hi all, up for sale is my Grand Seiko SBGN005. This watch has GS’s renowned 9F86 movement— a fully serviceable, decorated quartz caliber with a true gmt. I last set the time on the watch about 8 months ago and it’s gained about 3 seconds since—to give you a sense of the incredible accuracy. In Grand Seiko fashion, the watch has immaculate finishing and attention to detail, photos can’t do it justice. The case measures 39mm. This model was recently discontinued and replaced in Grand Seiko’s catalog by the SBGN029, which is a very similar model but with several (and in my opinion, inferior) differences: the new version lacks lume on every marker, has the crown and date at 4 o’clock, has ‘blunted’ hands, and lacks a frame on the date window. The watch is in very good condition, with some light surface scratches on the bracelet and case as to be expected from about a year of semi-regular desk wear. The watch comes with the full kit and is still under warranty, having been purchased from an authorized dealer in October, 2021. Asking $2150 shipped to CONUS.
