Listing up Sinn 556i in great condition—no major marks or blemishes, and AR coating unscratched. Some typical wear marks on the bracelet & clasp. Watch was purchased here on r/watchexchange and the bracelet purchased aftermarket. Includes all papers, boxes, links, and tools (dated December 2020). The reason for the great price: the movement has developed a mild issue that is (apparently!) pretty typical of Sellita 2XX movements, even in the "top" grade, which Sinn uses: helicopter rotor! It doesn't happen all the time, but generally once the watch is handwound 1/3rd of the way to full power it'll start spinning the rotor when you turn the crown. This doesn't actually affect performance, but my watchmaker recommended against hand-winding when that happens. Watch functions perfectly otherwise; self-winds normally, keeps great time, no problems setting time and date. Keeps time within -2/+6 seconds per day, typically. The rotor issue seems to come and go. Holding it upright (so the rotor weight hangs down) seems to help. Once the problem developed, I bought a cheap watchwinder on Amazon to eliminate any headache. I've been wearing it 3–4 days a week for about 2 months since the helicopter rotor started with no issues. This is a common issue with this movement, and a fairly minor one; you're not *really* supposed to handwind automatics to full on a regular basis, not only to avoid wear and tear on the movement but on screwdown threads. I'm not an expert, but I'd probably give it another year or two before going to the trouble of sending it in.
