This is a newly built 37mm Explorer homage. The aftermarket gilt black dial pays obvious homage to the Explorer. The dial is paired with a set of aftermarket gold Seiko Alpinist hands, which is a welcoming deviation from the usual Mercedes style hands commonly seen. Inside the watch is an NH38 automatic movement, so no "ghost" crown pull position for date. The case is a "36mm" (37mm measured) Oyster Perpetual style case with polished bezel and sides, and brushed lugs. The watch also comes with an oyster style bracelet with solid end links.
