Reluctantly selling my vintage Longines All-Guard Automatic, Ref. 9006-1, which had a movement service just earlier this year. The watch runs great and is a real solid, good-looking piece. The black dial has a great aged patina, having gone lighter grey/charcoal in the middle. The awesome dagger hands are in great shape as are the individual beveled markers. The steel case has some scratches and I believe the crown is not original, but overall this is a really handsome piece. I found when wearing this that it worked really well both as a “sports” watch (don’t worry no actual sports were played while wearing this) and a dress watch when going out, I think partly due to the Wind Vintage honey leather strap this will come with by Nick Gabarro. The only other note is that there is a small hair or something on the underside of the crystal, just top-right of the center, which does show against the black dial, though it could easily be removed by a watchmaker I’m sure.
