This piece recreates to the very last detail one of the early executions of the Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI. Its all-black dial, protected by a highly-domed Hesalite crystal, has the same Arabic numerals as the original Co-Pilot from 1953, with tone-on-tone small seconds, 15-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters. The hand-applied Super-LumiNova color has been carefully chosen to recall the original luminescent material and gives the AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition an additional touch of vintage allure. The only concessions to modernity is an increased water resistance and far superior COSC-certified caliber, the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B09. Breguet just released a brand new, revamped Type 20/XX, and honestly, I think this beats the pants off that model. No awkward date windows here. Everything is properly sized and proportioned. It's a re-edition of a classic done right. **Condition:** The watch was lightly worn, with just a few hairline scratches on the polished parts.
