1950s Zodiac Triple Date Moonphase Manual Winding Watch in Very Good Condition The watch was serviced about 5 years ago and hardly worn since. It is in full working order and keeping good time. Overall the watch is in very good condition given it is 60+ years old. This watch is gold plated with minimal plate loss. The only noticeable area is on the side of the case by the 9 o'clock marker where entry to the caseback is made. The case is about 33mm wide excluding the crown and 41mm from lug to lug. The lug width is 18mm. It has a cream coloured dial with slight natural patina. Date is indicated on the outer rim of the dial and the double window below the 12 o'clock is for the day of week and month. The moon-phase indicator is above 6 o'clock positions and is a particular delight. You can still see the smiling face of the moon. There are 4 hidden reset pusher to set the above triple date and moonphase, all fully fuctioning.  The plexiglas crystal was fitted at the time of service and is free of any scratches. It has a Stainless steel caseback. Inside it has a hand wound 17 jewels Zodiac 1100 mechanical movement This is a gorgeous piece that I just bought for my personal collection but found it to be a bit small for my wrist.
