This run of Orient Day Dates with baton indices were limited to just the first run of production, around 20 years ago. It's rumored that Orient might have received a stern letter regarding the similarity to a certain brand's day date model, and from then on they produced a few more of these but with diamond indices instead, which are much less desirable. This particular model is in the most desired colorway, yellow gold with black sunburst dial. This is widely considered one of, if not *the best* homage watches. Picked this up and thought I'd love it but full yellow gold isn't really my style it turns out. Passing it on at a reduced price for someone else to love and enjoy. ​ Condition: 9/10. Bought it New Old Stock and paid a premium. Wore it a couple of times and it picked up some scratches, mostly on the non-crown side of the case. These are highlighted in the album. The gold plating has slightly rubbed off on one of the end links, only visible under bright light. Comes with a full bracelet, currently sized to 6.25" wrist.
