Overview- This is an omega railmaster 2502.52.00 in a 41mm case. The reference number was produced between 2003 and 2010 and was part of the Aqua Terra line. The railmaster originally formed part of the omega master series (holy trinity) including the speed and sea masters. It was originally designed for professionals working in the field of railways, electricity, and magnetic fields, where accuracy and resistance to magnetic fields were crucial. I’ve always considered it the Engineers watch (along with the rolex milgauss and IWC Ingenieur). This watch features an omega coaxial movement and is chronometer certified. Its larger case size is similar to the omega speedmaster (which I have included in an image for reference, that is not included in the sale). It has a slim profile and easily fits under a shirt cuff, while looking full sized on the wrist. I believe this specific size is much rarer than the 36mm version (based on market availability). This is not the XXL which used a pocket watch movement. Condition: This watch is in used condition, but the case and bracelet are well presented with minimal wear on the case and some swirl marks on the bracelet. There is some minor scratching on the bracelet near the clasp hinge (normal for this bracelet style). This is all apparent in the images. The box is original and from the period which means the leather is cracked and falling part (that’s just what happens with them). The booklet is in unread condition. The exterior box has no damage but some discoloring. Includes: Watch (the speedmaster is for size reference only), bracelet, outer box, inner box, user manual. No warranty card.
