I started with an aftermarket 090 case from Modtok. This case is almost identical to the 090 case but has the updates of a DOMED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL and provisions to allow the use of ALL SEIKO SKX RATCHETING BEZELS! $125.00

The added a bezel from one second closer and ZRC style insert (over $70.00)

Stainless Steel 090 Crown from Meranom $15.00

The crystal was removed and the case, bezel, rotor, crown and case back were sent to motorcity for a fresh coating of black cerakote. The case back was bead blasted to tone it down a bit. The cerakote was also applied to the inside of case where the chapter ring would be as a match. ($200.00)

I realize Vostoks aren't for everyone. If you immediately feel they are junk, this watch is not for you. Vostok is a well made, PURPOSE Built piece and you just can't compare them to the Swiss or Japanese. It's not the same. There are reasons for every attribute that people feel are different than what the Swiss do..

Fun Fact.. Did you know Vostok had to design their first government issued 300M divers watch using NO WESTERN PATENTS?

$300.00 is a lot for a Vostok Boctok without some sort of limited edition markings from Meranom, but this watch has it all and its one of kind... Of course trade values slightly higher. I'm not looking for anything specific. Don't really bond with Citizen or Seiko.
