On offer is this AWESOME Rolex 1601 Datejust SS/14K from 1963 with serial number 908,XXX that is in very good condition. The 36mm case has been polished in its 61 year existence but retains good lines and uniform lugs. The winding crown screws down tight and the factory low dome (rounded edges) crystal is without scratches and/or nicks. Correct open 6's and 9's. The lovely bronze 'ghost sigma' dial is in very good condition and just goes so well with the original dauphine hands. Lume on both the hands and the dial still glow when exposed to ultraviolet light. Yellow gold fluted bezel is in very good condition and still fairly sharp. The watch is running good and is keeping time within COSC standards however, I don't know when it was last serviced. I will ship with a brand new, black Horween strap as shown.
