For sale today I have a vintage Timex Electric/Quartz from the 60s or 70s. This model is usually referred to as the UFO and features a dark navy blue dial with an appearance of floating hands. It uses a battery inserted through a hatch in the back to rotate a balance wheel which is regulated by a quartz crystal. So the watch ticks like a mechanical but the second hand jumps like a quartz. The case is chrome plated and about 40mm. It is in good condition with minor scuffs. The crystal is the same and is original. The watch seems to run and keep time but no guarantees are made for accuracy as this watch is quite old. I also have four timex watch bands, two of which are new old stock that I will be selling with this watch. Asking $200 shipped or best offer.
