Dipping into their historic catalog, Omega took design elements from their mid-century chronographs to create a classic “Doctor’s Watch.” It measures 39mm across, and comes on an Omega strap with the original buckle. All the vintage hits are here: a cream dial, Breguet hands and open numerals, the vintage Omega marquee and logo, a boxed and cambered sapphire, multiple scales, including a pulsation scale. But it comes with modern conveniences: hacking seconds, a crisp vertical clutch for the chronograph, 50 meters of water resistance, and a co-axial (Omega’s in-house escapement since 1999) movement with 55 hours of power reserve by Frederique Piguet.
