Up for sale is a Rolex Precision, reference 6427, with a beautiful warm patina on the dial. The serial number of this watch (527***) dates it to the late 1970s. I believe Rolex stopped the production of this model at the start of the 1980s This watch measures in at a thin 9mm thickness and a 34mm diameter. The sunburst finished dial has taken on an wonderful warm patina. The dial is in great condition, and the gold colored indicies and hands are in good condition with light signs of aging. The watch features an engine turned bezel with blocks for the hour markers. This is really a beautiful example. The watch features a thin acrylic crystal. Notably, the crystal has a small bubble from age near the 9 o'clock marker. But that is easily and cheaply replaced if you dislike it. The case has some minor marks from wear over the life of the watch, but those are relatively minimal. The watch comes on a 7635 Rolex folded link oyster bracelet with 257 endlinks that have a nice fit to the watch case. The bracelet will fit a 7" wrist, perhaps even larger. My wrist in the photos is 6.8" for reference. The watch features a manual-wound caliber 1210 movement.
