A limited total of 2700 of this series pocket watch was made between 1939 and 1941. This is an extremely accurate watch, and has been heavily used (and extensively serviced) by a railroad operator. The last known service looks to have been 1973, but it runs perfectly today, even with the regulator’s fine adjustment missing and unaccounted for. The balance wheel runs perfectly and the crown winds very easily. My grandfather passed this on to me with little to no history, so I am selling it in hopes of obtaining money to buy an heirloom wristwatch to pass on to my own kids eventually, which is much more wearable to me than a pocket watch.
