The Rolex Oyster Precision line of the 1960s through the 1980s are INCREDIBLE and offer so much value! I love all the hand wound variants Rolex was offering at the time, but the no date 6426 is hard to beat - clean, robust, and reliable - and this is a great example with that classic silver sunburst dial on Rolex oyster bracelet. REFERENCE: 6426 SERIAL NUMBER: 3,549,XXX DATE: 1973 DIAL: The no date silver sunburst dial is just pure sweetness. And this is a fantastic example, very clean and, pops beautifully in the light! CASE: Very nice 34mm case (actually measures 34.5 on calipers, and wears like a 35 or so with the oyster case) in good condition. Light wear overall, as to be expected for its age, but presents beautifully, including very thick lugs (not usually found on these) with nice even brushing - just a great example! CRYSTAL: Vintage plexi crystal in good shape, with light scratches and wear as you’d expect but shows off that incredible dial well. MOVEMENT: Service history unknown but the hand wound Rolex movement is working beautifully, winding and setting smoothly, with timegrapher showing great numbers at 7 seconds a day and an incredibly strong amplitude of 300! BRACELET: Comes on a solid link Rolex 78350 oyster bracelet. Based on the clasp code this is a few years newer than the watch, likely added during an early service. A really nice upgrade to the folded link version that would’ve come on it. Bracelet is sharp and clean with only minimal wear, and large, fitting up to app 7.5 inches.
