Good evening, WatchEx! Ok fine, one more tonight: the rare Steinhart Ocean One Titanium GMT Phantom Orange in 42mm. God I love blacked out watches. Seriously, it's a problem - and one that this German beauty *almost* sated. Steinhart's heritage pays a respectful homage to divers of old - this time, a bit of stealthy and more original fun that what we typically see from the Bavarian powerhouse. There's a lot to love here - relief ceramic bezel, high-end Swiss GMT movement, and a pretty great matching titanium bracelet. The Phantom series was a limited run back in Summer of 2023 - and in typical Steinhart fashion, the limited models (blue, green, orange) sold out very quickly with just 100 of each being made. This is the 42mm variant - but on wrist, it does *not* feel like 42. I'm roughly 6.75" circumference, and it really feels like a 40. Maybe it's the smaller dial, maybe the fact that it's entirely black, or maybe it's the tightness of the titanium build - whatever it is, it's extremely comfortable.
