This stunning EternaMATIC is in great vintage condition for being 70+ years old. 34mm diameter (without crown), 42mm lug to lug, 18mm lug width, and 11mm thick to the top of the domed acrylic crystal. Service history unknown but keeps excellent time over the three plus years I’ve owned it. Original signed crown has a satisfying wind and sets time/date perfectly. It doesn’t offer much resistance to pull out, but does NOT come out on its own. The tropical dial shows colors of gold, tan, and brown depending on light, as well as uniform speckles throughout. All original dial text still present and legible in classic Eterna font. Signature gold medallion Thor Heyerdahl KonTiki raft on the case back still recognizable despite being smoothed down from years of wear.
