Hello, I’ve inherited a collection of watches and am now looking to sell some of them. These pieces are from the GDR times of Glashütte behind the iron curtain and are the inspiration for many of the modern GO watches. They do come with a rich independent history at a much smaller price point. I only offer watches that are running. However, I always recommend having the watch serviced before regular use. If desired, I can arrange a service upon upfront payment. Please see the pictures and ask for more if needed. Watch comes on an unworn strap that could possibly an original one from the early 60s. This piece is very very special as it was exported from the socialist GDR to West Germany and sold on the German mail order company "Quelle". Only a few ever were and this one is in fantastic condition as you can see on the pictures. These watches were never meant to be collectibles so getting one with box and papers is very rare. Getting that one in a condition as great as this one and it being an export model will most certainly make you one of only a very vew people owning one of these.
