1978 Rolex Day-Date 18038 Champagne Linen Dial $14,500 Gorgeous champagne linen dial on this reference 18038 quick set day-date with chunky gold case. Perfect tritium lume plots and hands have aged evenly. Bezel is sharp, case remains thick and even. Some gold portions are showing patina due to oxidation in areas of the case as well as the bracelet. Some minor marks on the top left lug. The bracelet has very minor slack, and is in great condition for its age. Open 6/9 date wheel. Serial - Year: 5.42m serial ~1978 Bracelet - Strap: President bracelet with B clasp. Fits up to 7.25” wrist Box - Papers - Accessories: Watch only Service History: Unknown.
