For sale is this beautiful Universal Geneve 204601 Polerouter Date, or as I call it, the “Stealth Jet.” I know what you’re thinking, “Why doesn’t it say Polerouter?” I’ve done a write up on this beautiful watch [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/VintageWatches/s/yGjn6VEmlJ). The TL;DR is that the case and microtor movement were specific to US and other markets Polerouter Jets. Some research found the original Universal Geneve 1959 new release advertisements, and this exact watch was marketed as the Polerouter Jet Date. Of course, signed Polerouters are more valuable, and I won’t be asking that much for this piece. However, this is indeed a 1959 Polerouter Jet Date. The watch is in overall great condition. The sunburst dial has mild patina and some fading near 10 o’clock and the date window. The 14k gold-filled case and stainless steel case back are in excellent condition. Hands are good condition. Crystal was replaced this month. Most importantly, the 215 microtor is clean as a whistle. Service history is unknown, but the watch runs fantastic at around +/- 10-15 seconds a day. The movement’s performance and excellent condition leads me to believe it has been serviced at some point. It’s remarkable how well presented this watch is, considering it’s over 65 years old. The case measures 35 w/crown, 42 lug to lug, and 19 mm between lugs. Comes with barely worn leather strap. Asking $375 which includes tracked and insured CONUS shipping.
