1992 Rolex Datejust 16220 IBM Quarter Century Club Award - Box and Papers $5,750 Back in the day when company loyalty meant a whole great deal, watches were seen as forms of congratulatory awards for loyal employees. In this case, the recipient had joined IBM’s “Quarter Century Club Award” in December of 1992. For 25 years of loyalty in the company, IBM gifted employees with a Rolex and this watch is an example of many, a lost form of gratitude in today’s day and age. The watch was worn with signs of use throughout the case and bracelet. Tiny nick on the edge of the crystal at 10 o’clock. The watch comes as a full set, with the awardee’s name on the sticker of the outer box. Serial - Year: X serial ~1991 Bracelet - Strap: 78360 bracelet with R clasp. 12 links. Fits up to 7.5” wrist Box - Papers - Accessories: Outer box with awardee sticker, inner box, oyster booklet, datejust booklet, factory service booklet, original hang tag with serial, chronometer tag, original warranty papers dated Nov 1992 Service History: Unknown.
