Tudor Prince Oysterdate ref. 74000 with Linen Dial 34mm The Tudor Oyster Prince was born in 1952.  This vintage Oysterdate factory fitted with Rolex crown and caseback appears to be from the 1980s with linen dial Swiss only dial.  A desirable time piece for collectors as it points to not only a transitional era for Tudor but also an era where the brand was clearly connected with Rolex.  From an enthusiast perspective, it is a joy to wear and the factory drilled lugs make it easy to pair with various straps—lastly—the movement is undefeated. The stainless steel case shows clear signs of wear most notable on bezel, case back and on original crown; however it appears to have minimal signs of polish and good lugs— no severe damage. Light scratches and cracks in crystal—a new one can be negotiated but we are offering as-is for it does not affect the watch. While no service history, the Tudor signed ETA 2824-1 automatic quickest movement is healthy showing +12 seconds a day with a 227 amplitude with a low beat error. Note, ETA movements are built to last forever and are also easy to service as parts are a plenty.
