This is last quartz Seamaster Omega made. The cal. 1538 is keeping exceptional time and combined with the black dial, makes it a much more versatile EDC/GADA than the blue dial counterpart IMO. This is a transition model before the no wave ceramic edition but did receive some nice upgrades such as the applied hour indices, applied logo, longer handset and red Seamaster text. A perfect high end grab and go that wears wonderfully thin. Seconds hand hits the markers perfectly. It's fitted to a black standard size Zealande FKM rubber that was made for the older gen Seamasters so it fits perfectly without the use of curved spring bars. Also comes with the classic Seamaster Bond bracelet. It's sized for a 6.5 inch wrist but comes with 1 additional full link and 1 half link. Condition and details: It has the usual scuffs/scratches throughout for a well loved piece. The main spot I could see was a dent on the bezel around the 20 minute area. The bezel insert has some scratches as well but is in overall remarkable condition with no fading or deep scratches. The case and bracelet have not been polished so all finishes are correct to the original with reflection for age and wear. Clasp and diver's extension on bracelet operate as expected and snap snugly closed. Lume is excellent. Crown screws in smoothly. No Box or papers outside of Ebay authentication presentation.
