The Wimbledon dial is unique to the Datejust line and matches the steel/white gold perfectly with its slate grey face and distinctive green-outlined bold Roman numerals – a nod to the Rolex court clocks which have their gold fluted bezels nestled into the green ivy walls at the world-famous Wimbledon tennis tournaments. The dial, after all, is nicknamed after the world-famous Wimbledon tennis tournament, where Rolex has been the official timekeeper since 1978.

The nickname really took a stronghold in the Rolex enthusiast circles in 2017 when Roger Federer rocked the Wimbledon Dial at the awarding ceremony for his eighth Wimbledon title. Since that time, the Wimbledon dial has grown immensely in popularity, the steel version now being one of the most coveted models in the Rolex lineup. Acquiring one is a challenge, as they are impossible to find at a dealer and are tough to find on the market, especially in like-new, mint condition.

Condition: Mint, like-new condition, maybe was worn once or twice. Case back sticker still present. May have slight, hairline scratches on clasp that are not noticeable.
