Time to thin the herd.... This is a watch I received in a trade that I've been unable to bond with. With that said, it's uncommon to see this watch on the secondary market. The Tudor Black Bay 36 S&G (steel & 18K gold) is a subtle (for a two-tone) 36mm watch. As far as I know, the S&G series was the first Black Bay to come with a factory jubilee (ok, "5-link") bracelet, and the "smiley" dial S&Gs are the only ETA-based ones (meaning inexpensive maintenance) to feature such a bracelet. Watch was purchased in January 2022, so it is still under the manufacturer's warranty.The case contains some scratches (see photos) but no dings.The movement runs within COSC (though it is not COSC-certified). Package includes box, papers, and extra links (though one pin is missing). I have adjusted the price to reflect that.Price (reduced to $2,350) includes CONUS shipping, insured for the purchase price. Watch (and I) are located in the beautiful Hudson Valley of NY, although I work in White Plains and NYC. Face-to-face deals are welcome. Straight sales are strongly preferred, though I would consider trades down. No trades up, please. Montres Tudor SA has designed, manufactured and marketed Tudor watches since 6 March 1946. Rolex founder Hans Wildorf conceived of the Tudor Watch Company to create a product for authorized Rolex dealers to sell that offered the reliability and dependability of a Rolex, but at a lower price. The number of Rolex watches was limited by the rate that they could product in-house Rolex movements, thus Tudor watches were originally equipped with off-the-shelf movements while using similar quality cases and bracelets.

Historically, Tudor watches have been manufactured by Montres Tudor SA using movements supplied by ETA SA. Since 2015 however, Tudor has begun to manufacture watches with in-house movements. The first model introduced with a in-house movement was the Tudor North Flag. Following this, updated versions of the Tudor Pelagos and Tudor Heritage Black Bay have also been fitted with an in-house caliber.

Tudor watches are marketed and sold in most countries around the world including the United States, Australia, Canada, India, Mexico, South Africa, many countries in Europe, South Asia, the Middle East and countries in South America, particularly Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela.
