Letting go of my Steinhart Metropole in Yellow. I really dig the color and the applied indices, and although it’s very well executed and fun piece, I’ve decided that I prefer my watches to be a little more ‘tooly’. Nevertheless, this is a very nice summer/fall watch. I picked up this watch last year from Gnomon and wore it only a few times so it’s in flawless condition except for some very minor scuffs on the bracelet clasp. The fixed bezel is spotless (yeah, I know, I’m repeating myself). It has screw down crown and 100, of water resistance, so can be safely worn every day. On the wrist this watch gained about 1-2 secs/day – the timegrapher (see pics) says 0 to -1 secs/day. Steinhart regulates their Sellitas very well.
