Looking to see what’s out there as this is falling out of my rotation. 2004 (F serial) Rolex Datejust 16200. This is the last of the transition DJ’s with brushed bracelet and no holes case. A modern classic with the feel of vintage. Watch is in excellent mechanical condition with no issues. Physically in good to very good condition. It has no serious dents, dings, deep scratches etc. It has been worn and could benefit from a polish, but chamfers/lines are very crisp and thus I haven’t polished it. The bezel has a few marks but again nothing that can be felt when a finger is run across them. All just visual. Presents well on the wrist. Watch is sized to a 6.75” wrist and has room in the clasp to expand a half an inch or so I’d guess. Bracelet has little stretch and wears well. Waiting for extra links in the mail from a previous owner and will forward if they arrive. Currently the watch has a white stick index dial with Roman railroad track installed. This is not the correct dial for the watch, as is given away by the hands. The hands are onyx inlaid with no lume. The dial is correct for the 16200 reference and fits with no issues. Included with the watch is the correct dial, a slate Roman dial with onyx inlaid markers. Consider this a two for one. I’ve found the white dial is a killer summer option. Any watchmaker can easily swap out dials quickly. Looking to see what’s out there, both up and down. With both dials included, looking for $4500 sale or trade value on the watch.
