Stainless steel case with the more robust screw down back cover; the diameter is 35.5 mm without the crown and the thickness is a bit over 10 mm. Per thenowner's widow, it was serviced about 8 or 9 years prior to my buying it, but it was only ever worn on family gathering weekends and “special” occasions over the almost 70 years he had it. To her knowledge, the silver sunburst dial, dauphine silver-tone hands, Omega logo crown and crystal (with the Omega logo in the center) are all original.   The movement is Omega calibre 265; an iteration of the venerable 3oT2 movement that Omega is rightly famous for. The watch winds smoothly, runs well and holds accuracy for the few times I have worn it. No box, no papers, but I will ship it in a OEM Omega travel case. The dial has slight age-related patina/marks, the case and crystal both have a few light marks, but overall presents very nicely, especially for its age. It did not have a band when I bought it, I added a Hirsch Merino band in black sheepskin leather (its original band and buckle is long gone) worn maybe 5 times. $800 Net to me via PayPal G&S includes CONUS shipping. I am selling it on for the price I bought it for (watch and band) to hopefully start a tradition in a new family. I would keep it, but I already own my “dream” watches for every day, dress and sport.  I am aware my back cover and crown photos are garbage. I wanted to be close up for detail, but wow. I will try to take more.
