Reducing collection and unfortunately this has not been seeing much wrist time. This is a pretty rare watch in amazing condition and they don't come up often. These are considered just below the GS line in quality. A very cool solid back with display window construction. Similar packaging as a GS, with inner box wrapped in rice paper and outer box. Amazing watch, original owner and I got it directly from Japan. Excellent condition. Full kit with original crock leather strap that was not worn much. I had around 5 different versions of this Ananta including some spring drive GMT and Chronos and the full Titanium version as well. I loved the Ti bracelet so much I could not let it go with the Ti watch and kept it for this one. This version was my favorite of them all and wears amazing with the Ti bracelet. Back is also curved a bit so wears smaller than the size would indicate. That Ti bracelet is worth over $250 alone and it is made for these Anantas. The 8R28 high end and very impressive in-house chronograph movement which is hand assembled in the same place as some of the GS mvmvts. It incorporates a column wheel, triple vertical clutch, and a three-pointed hammer. The column wheel allows you to run the chronograph on a continuous basis without having to worry about damage or added accuracy deviation, while the vertical clutch ensures that the chronograph seconds hand starts smoothly, with no "jump," at the moment when the stopwatch is activated. see here for a nice review of the 8R28 mvmt Clutch Performer: Reviewing the Seiko Velatura Running well. Only minor issue is that the second hand does not exactly re-set to 12 perfectly, it is a split second off, but otherwise no issues.
