What we have here though, is a green dial Elegance SBGW285G with a rare production error on the dial! This alone makes this an extremely rare and highly collectible timepiece.

Note how the assembler installed a gold marker at the 7 instead of silver tone marker. When the original owner noticed the marker, he asked the AD if this was normal. The abnormality was enough to make Grand Seiko HQ respond to the AD to get the watch back for correction. After discovering that this was indeed a production error, the original owner decided to keep the watch.
