Founded in 1792, Favre-Leuba is the world's second oldest watch company, not far behind Vacheron Constantin. Known through the years for their many innovations (I sound like a promotional ad), some of the coolest were the Bathy (1968), which not only displayed time, but diving depth as well. Also in 1968, Favre-Leuba added automatic winding to its double-barrel calibers – making it one of the first brands to use this combination in series production. In 1970, the Memo Raider with automatic alarm was introduced. The company slogged on through the quartz crisis, and was resurrected 2011. In 2018, the Raider Bivouac 9000, reached the summit of Mt. Everest. The Bivouac 9000 is the only mechanical altimeter watch in the world to have successfully reached the altitude of 8,848m.

Today the Raider Harpoon is Favre-Leuba's flagship model. This is the 46mm version. It's a big watch, but appears as if it would wear smaller with its straight sided case. The unique time display and 500m water resistance, make this one bad ass diver. It is brand new, not even tried on. Comes with boxes (including a cool round watch holder that rises when you push a button), flash drive, and papers. The box on the rear right is upside down - doh!
