Hi WatchExchange, Up for sale is a 18k solid gold Seiko Lord Marvel J14050 made in Jan 1962 featuring carved logo “SD” dial. Both watches share a lot of design elements, same mountain style hands, double width 12 o’clock hour marker, and solid gold hour markers (“SD - Special Dial” labelled on the dial), and carved logo. This example features all that was mentioned above. And instead of a gold filled case that is used for the Grand Seiko First, the case and crown here are made of 18k solid gold. There are minor scratches on the crystal as shown in the photos. Happy to provide additional photos if needed. The dial and hands are in excellent condition. Movement is a 23jewels hand wound low beat, service history unknown but it’s currently keeping time. The watch comes with a generic leather strap. Size is 35mm excluding crown and 18mm lug width.
