A sub brand to Hamilton in the late 60’s and ‘70s. Vantage sold quality watches just under Hamilton’s flagship US watches. Landeron 248 these beautiful chronographs have flown under the radar, that is until recent years collectors are taking advantage of this beautiful "panda" dialed chronograph. The hands are and markers are showing matching patina. Overall the case is a nice example. The watch is running correctly, previous service history is unknown. The Hamilton Watch Company is a brand of the Swatch Group, a Swiss watch company based in Bienne, Switzerland. The Hamilton Watch Company was formerly a storied American watch design and manufacturing company, which incorporated in 1892 and produced its first watch in 1893.

After its formation, the Hamilton Watch Company went on to manufacture and market pocket watches and wristwatches, ending American manufacture in 1969.
