It was common in the past for jewelers to mix and match cases and movements, which was easy to do because of the standardization of pocket watch sizes. As a result, not every Bunn Special you find will be in the official Bunn Special case. This one has it, making it rarer and more desirable than some other Bunn Specials. This is a size "13s" pocket watch, based on the movement diameter. There is some normal wear on the case back, faint surface scratches. There are no prominent scratches or damage anywhere on the watch. None of the gold is wearing off anywhere. The wear on the case back is normal for a watch of this age. Apart from the case back, the rest of the watch looks to be in mint condition. Powered by a high-grade in-house Bunn Special movement made in Springfield, IL. 21-jewels adjusted to temperature and 6 positions. Very fancy! This is a lever-set movement.
