Greetings Everyone,

I am selling my Grand Seiko SBGV225 9F82 quartz. I bought this watch from an AD in September 2019. It has all boxes, papers, and the signed 3-year warranty card (but the watch is no longer under warranty).

The SBGV 225 is a classic Grand Seiko with the following features:

• The case is 40mm in diameter without the crown. The lug-to-lug is 46.8 mm. The thickness is 10mm. The lug width is 20mm.

• The blue dial has multiple personalities. The hue changes from a deep inky blue to blue/black to medium blue.

• The dial hardware and hour markers are typical Grand Seiko. The indices beautifully reflect the light, especially the trapezoidal indexes at 6, 9, and 12. The hands do the same. There is a cap over the second hand, which is touch ignored by many other watch companies. Although the dial doesn't have lume, the indices reflect so much light that it's easy to read the time in low light.

• The 9F82 quartz movement is accurate to 10 seconds per year. I had the battery changed for the first time this June.

• The crystal is sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inside.

• The bracelet is fully brushed, Oyster style, with a folding clasp. I have all the links.

• The watch is water resistant to 100m.

The watch has been worn as part of an 8-watch rotation. The condition of the case and bezel are a conservative 80-85% with light scratches. The bracelet is 85% -- 90%. The crystal is perfect. The watch functions as it should with no problems. I'm selling because that's what we do here, I don't wear it as much as I used to, and I've turned over a lot of my collection in the last few years.

My price is $1,500 shipped.

With respect to trades, best I can say is try me. The watches at the top of my list are the 40mm Chronoswiss Kairos (I like the updated art deco look) -- Chronoswiss Delphis (the 12 hour dial disk model) Citizen Chronomaster AQ4030 or AQ4091 (Washi dial and titanium case/bracelet) Omega Seamaster 2254 or 2264 (black dial/bezel and sword hands model) Omega Seamaster Titanium 42mm titanium Omega Planet Ocean (blue dial) -- Omega Globemaster (blue dial) -- Breitling Aerospace (the older printed dial model not the Aerospace Advantage) -- Nomos Tangente Neomatik 39 (ref. 140 or 141) -- Cuervo Y Sobrinos 1519 (silver dial with the blue internal track) Cuervo Y Sobrinos Asturias (anthracite model) and RGM 150 (blue dial). Cash can be added as necessary, as not all trades for pieces of interest are going to be straight-up trades of equal value.

I've been on TZ since 2000 and have done many, many successful trades and sales here and elsewhere.

If you want to contact me not through a PM, my E-mail is [email protected].

Thanks for looking!
