I bought this watch directly from Seiko USA in July and have worn it in rotation since then. It comes with all links (one pin is missing) and is currently sized for my 7.25” wrist. The watch is in outstanding condition with no marks or scratches on the case or crystal that I can see, though it does have the usual desk diving marks on the bracelet and clasp.

The watch is a nearly one-for-one reproduction of the original Seiko 5 Sports model from 1968 with the only obvious changes being the dial text and the crown. The applied Seiko logo, the indices and even the Seiko 5 logo are like-for-like reproductions with the result being a watch that looks like NOS (new old stock) from 1968, but with modern reliability.

While many of these are made in Malaysia, this copy was made-in-Japan as evidenced by the text on the dial and also on the case back. It is not, however, the JDM model as the day wheel includes Spanish rather than Japanese Kanji as the second language.
