Titanium SKX173 build: built using a Long Island Watch titanium SKX case and fitted rubber strap (fits my 7~7,25” wrists, has about a half inch of microadjustment left to use). OEM SKX173 dial and hands, NH36 with kanji day wheel, lumed chapter ring, flat sapphire, and fully lumed sapphire bezel insert. This was a very fun watch to build, and it weighs next to nothing (a mere 103 grams). There are a few light scratches on the caseback, and some marks underneath the bezel at 6 o’clock from removing it, as I’ve tried to show in the pictures. SKX007k mod: Built from and SKX007 that I purchased already modded, this watch features an NH36, kanji day wheel, flat sapphire crystal, lumed chapter ring, and a “katanakaji” seconds hand and signed crown from one second closer. Army Turtle mod: I built this watch with an OEM seiko turtle case, crown, bezel, and SRPE05 chapter ring; the dial and hands are from monsterwatches, and it has a flat, blue-AR sapphire and sterile caseback. The movement is an NH35, so there’s no ghost day function to worry about when setting the time. The watch will ship on a high-qualtity black NATO style strap.
