Available for purchase is an Omega Constellation 168.005 dog lug case with pie pan dial. I bought this from another OF member just over a year ago. You can view the original listing here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-constellation-168-005.144813/ After purchase, I sourced an Omega decagonal crown to replace the generic crown that was on the watch, and I also replaced the winding stem and a missing case clamp and screw with authentic Omega parts from a donor movement I’ve been using for parts. I’ve worn probably worn the watch half a dozen times since I’ve acquired it, and it’s always kept good time. The watch and I are located in Virginia, US. I’m offering this one for $1250 shipped in the US. Based on recent completed ebay auctions, I think the price is fair so please consider it firm.

Dial and Hands - IMO the original pie pan dial is in great condition with some mild spotting. The hands are correct for this reference, so I assume they are original to the watch. There is some oxidation on part of the second hand.

Case - The case retains the chamfers on the lugs and bezel, and I’ve done my best to photograph the case from all angles so there won’t be any surprises for a buyer. As I mentioned above, I’ve replaced the crown with what I believe to be a correct and authentic decagonal crown, although it’s a later model 4204 crown with the more modern logo. I’ve read there are aftermarket crowns that have been available from China and India, so I’ve done my best to compare this crown to 4204 crowns on Desmond’s blog, and I’ve concluded this crown is a genuine 4204 based on the logo and dimensions. If anyone feels differently, feel free to DM or reply directly to my listing. Case back observatory is in great shape.

Movement - The 561 movement is in good condition, although there appears to be some mild rotor dub on the inside of the caseback and some marks around the rotor on the bridge for the automatic mechanism. Other than that, I think the movement is solid. It’s kept time well whenever I’ve worn it, consistently losing around 20 seconds per day, but service history is unknown. The only issue I can point out is that sometimes the crown is difficult to pull out, as was the case before I replaced the crown and winding stem. All other functions work as they should. As I mentioned above, I added a case clamp and screw that were missing when I purchased the watch. Those parts came from a donor Omega movement (565 I believe).
