For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 42mm stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional. This sale for the 3570.50 is for the watch alone. No box or papers are included. The Speedmaster’s three register black dial features luminescent stick indices and luminescent pencil hands. The polished and brushed finish stainless steel case is in near mint condition with no notable imperfections. The case is set with a fixed tachymeter bezel and is mounted on a stainless steel bracelet with a push button deployant clasp. The bracelet is in 95% or better condition with no notable imperfections. In its current configuration the Speedmaster can comfortably accommodate a wrist circumference of approximately 7-inches with six removable links and micro adjustment available. Powering the Speedmaster is a manual wind caliber 1861 with approximately 48 hours of power reserve.

Shall deliver with a 15-month in-house warranty on the movement for $4,500 plus any applicable taxes, duties, shipping, and insurance.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
