Candybar cyclops. Stainless steel case. **Description and condition**: Up for grabs is my JDM Seiko SBQL003. This ‘baby Grand Seiko’ is outfitted with Seiko’s 8F33 HAQ movement, advertised at +-20 seconds per year accuracy. The 8F33 has a perpetual calendar complication; meaning that it automatically keeps track of odd months as well as leap years! On those months, it will automatically switch from 30th to the 1st or the 28th/29th to the 1st. The watch sports a very familiar Grand Seiko-esque look, looking awfully similar to the 9F GS models such as the SBGP001. Hence this watch is commonly referred to as a ‘baby Grand Seiko’. The case has a diameter of 37mm (including crown) and a lug-to-lug of 43mm. The watch is in great shape and has minimal signs of wear. I think the case has been polished in the past. The candybar cyclops is unpolished/unwarped with only very minor scratches. Serial number starts with ‘9D’, likely dating this watch to December 1999 (or December 2009 but likely the former).
