Wow, this is really an incredible and unique timepiece! 1890's Swiss dual-face pocket watch with moon phase and full calendar! This watch is in fully working order including all complications, and is keeping good time. Front dial displays time and moon phase, back dial displays day, date and month. Pics: https://imgur.com/a/fr8nVYi Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/DZputOq Swiss made. 53mm case made from gun metal. Beautiful porcelain dial with arabic numerals, including minute markers. Blued-steel hands. The watch is not branded, but this was very common in the 1800's. How it works: The gears inside the rear dial engage with the central gear of the main movement. You can see how it works by examining the mechanism, see photos! This is a very unique set of complications, I have never seen a watch that was engineered in this way. Very cool! Window shows the month, and the number of days in that month, inner part of the dial displays date, and the outer part displays weekdays as "MTWTFSS". How to set it: Standard push/pull crown to set the time. There is a small button on the bottom of the case to set the moon phase. To set the back, opening the case back exposes various wheels that can be turned by hand to adjust. See pics for detail. All complications advance when the case is closed and the gears are engaged. Such a cool and interesting watch! I have never seen one quite like it. Asking $675 USD OBO including shipping within North America. Great international rates available too.
