Up for sale here is one of the most incredible timepieces I’ve ever had. Zenith first made the El Primero 21 with the 1/100th second chronograph in 2017, and just seeing the chrono hand whizzing around the dial once a second is mesmerizing. This feature is accomplished by having 2 separate balance wheels! One set controls the normal timekeeping function at 10 beats per second, while the other only at 100 bps engages only when the chrono is pressed. There is also 2 separate mainsprings; charge the time spring by turning the crown down, charge the chronograph (shown by the power reserve at 12 o’clock) by turning the crown up! This variant of the El Primero 21 is known as the Defy Extreme, and comes cased in 45mm of titanium with a fully titanium bracelet. In addition to the 12-sided lower bezel and larger chrono pushers, the Extreme lineup has 200m of water resistance and a quick change strap system. This watch comes with the original box, booklets, and the titanium bracelet. If you want the rubber strap too we can order it directly from Zenith.
