Pre-owned 7002-7001 Vintage Seiko Diver in good to very good condition.

Serial dates the watch to December 1991. Please refer to photos for general condition, but given this is a vintage piece, here are my additional notes on condition:

Bezel appears original (with scalloped underside). The insert is clean, but has several scuffs, scratches and dings, most significant b/w 40-45. The bezel is an early 60-click bi-directional and ball-bearing enforced job… a joy to operate! Case retains sharp lines and attractive brushed surfaces on the tops of the lugs, but there are nicks and scratches throughout. Most significant is a nice ding at the top of the 11 o’clock lug and some good scuffs under the bezel at about 38-40, which I’ve tried to capture in the photos. Crystal has some minor light scuffs, but generally in very good condition. Dial appears original, very clean, reads “17 Jewels” at 6 and “MADE IN JAPAN 7002-700L R” w/ Daini Bolt Logo along the bottom (very cool). Period correct handset shows a bit of wear, particularly on the minute hand. Lume shade and luminous intensity is a bit brighter vs. dial lume (so they may be replacement, hard to tell). Crown screws neatly. Quickset date on the 7002 movement is crisp. Keeps decent time (within +/- 30 seconds per day), and starts right up. Service history unknown. I’d recommend a service for water tightness and accuracy if this is going to be used for long-term and consistent wear. Works great for me a day or so at a time in rotation. Really very good, honest, but well worn overall condition. Nice value and entry point into vintage Seiko divers. Lots to like here.

Sale is watch only, including very good condition aftermarket Z199 flat folded link bracelet (fitted for 7.25” with enough room in micro adjusts to get to ~7.50”). No box or papers or other accessories.
