I bought this watch last month here on the exchange from u/sirparvisi, a terrific seller based in Denmark. As much as I *really* like this watch, over the last six years or so, I've largely avoided the gravitational pull of vintage watches only by sheer force of will, and I feel like I need to get "back in my lane" and stay within the boundaries I've set for myself of modern watches that I also can wear while during geologic fieldwork without worry. Anyway, this watch is in fantastic vintage condition, with a very clean dial and unpolished case (razor sharp "grammar of design" angled surfaces). The case has some shallow scratches, but no deep gouges. The seller from Denmark stated that the movement was recently serviced, and my watchmaker in St. Louis area confirmed that everything looks quite good (see movement photo). Keeps very good time....approx -5 spd by my unscientific measure. This watch will come with a babelle leather (linen-like embossing) strap I ordered from HANDDN. I also will include the handmade crocodile leather strap it came with from the original seller, but I left that strap at work, so no pictures available right now but will update this post.
