This was the first time Seiko featured a two piece case for improved water resistance, making the J13046 the predecessor of many diver watches from the brand. (Obviously, being a vintage watch the water resistance should not be tested anymore) The watch features a lovely unpolished stainless steel case which measures 35mm in diameter and is 45mm lug to lug. The watch is in all original and very good condition for the age. The applied indices are striking and play very well with light. The watch has a Seikosha 21 jewels manual winding movement with unknown service history but keeps great time with a significant power reserve.
