This Senator Navigator Chronograph is one heck of a watch measuring in at 44mm and features a sharp black military dial with highly luminous blue sword hands & Arabic numerals and a simple yet elegant 2 register chronograph. All the chronograph functionality with zero legibility issues that some of the more, “busy” chronos suffer from. Packing the in-house Caliber 39 movement which features 40h of reserve, 50 meters of water resistance and can all be admired through the sapphire crystal display caseback… and let me tell you, there’s a lot to be admired! Make sure to check out the shot of that 21K gold adorned rotor. Now with all that beauty also comes cutting edge German engineering and finishing, as the movement packs a shock absorber mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, a swan-neck regulator, a hacking seconds mechanism, and a rotor with a 21K gold segment. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph. Theres a lot to love about this watch from the simplicity at a glance to the high end watchmaking under the hood; ultimately making for a phenomenal pick for any collector or the individual that wants a solid one watch collection. Expect a full box set including papers, high end wooden display box and even a loupe to admire everything that this watch brings to the table. This watch was purchased in 2009 but is in impeccable shape with nearly no signs of use on the watch head, the strap has seen use and is in reasonable condition.
