**Please only contact me, if you have interest in getting one of the listed watches for yourself and the necessary funds. Due to heavy demand and the invested time, that hasn't led to anything I have to refrain from giving out further info about my collections or watches that will be sold in the future** Hello /r/WatchExchange, The clock is built into a panel, along with a VDO altimeter and speaker. This clock was most likely installed in the German version of the MIG 29 Fighter Jet and is an absolute eye-catcher on the desk or in the living room. The clock was also used in several other aircraft, like for example the “HIND”. I can not guarantee where this clock was originally installed, as I haven't uninstalled it myself. The vast majority of these were in MiG 29 Cockpits, some were used in helicopters like the “HIND”. German Air Force used MiG and “HIND” and the Lingo on the stickers gives away that this was used in a military aircraft. Due to the type of Altimeter used, I assume that this is from a planes' cockpit, not a Helis, but I could be wrong. The panel with clock and altimeter measures approximately 27 x 12 x 15 cm. The clock itself has a diameter of 9 cm. The chronograph can be started, stopped and reset by pressing the right-hand crown. Originally manufactured in Chelyabinsk as a Russian aircraft chronograph, this model is still used in airplanes and helicopters today. Initially, the Russian military had to rely on imported on-board watches with the “Le Coultre Chronoflight Caliber 310-5321”. Soon afterwards, however, the watch manufacturers of the former Soviet Union began to produce their own on-board watches based on the Swiss model with specially designed movements. The lower sub-dial houses the second hand and the minute counter hand for the chronograph. The upper sub-dial can be used as a flying hours counter and to display a second time zone. The integrated, temperature-controlled heater is activated with an operating voltage via two connections on the back of the watch and works at temperatures below 0°C. The on-board clock has a caliber with 26 jewels, 18000 vibrations per hour, 2 barrels, stop seconds, chronograph function and a power reserve of at least 72 hours. These on-board watches are currently still manufactured in Russia, but at a current purchase price of more than 1500$. I have no connection whatsoever with any military or member of any army. I bought this watch at a flea market and unfortunately no longer have any use for it. The clock is mechanical. Once the buyer has the clock, I will offer to have a video call to explain the functions.
